Jon Dee Graham is the three time inductee to the Austin Music Hall Of Fame. He was a founding member of the group many consider to be the godfathers of the alt country music scene – True Believers. He writes songs that tackle the struggles of day to day life, that address the pressures we all face and yet somehow does it in a way that makes you tap your toe and want to hear the songs again. He is a true legend in every sense of the word. The track he donated to Joey’s Song for Kids, “Hippopotamus”, is quintessential Jon Dee, fun, silly, poignant and slightly twisted.
